Book

Welcome to the resource page for the book Becoming a Neuropsychologist: Advice and Guidance for Students and Trainees.  Whether you are in high school, college, or graduate school, or you are looking for a career change, this book will provide you with a comprehensive, step-by-step guide for navigating your way to the goal of becoming a neuropsychologist.  The book also provides an overview of the field, lists reasons why neuropsychologists choose this profession, explains what settings neuropsychologists typically work in, and mentions the challenges to working in this field.  The book contains all the advice, guidance, and resources that we wish we had when we were going through this process.

For people outside North America who are interested in pursuing a career in neuropsychology, check out our global resource page here and look for your country.  Although we believe that many aspects of our book are relevant to trainees outside of North America, every country has its own unique path to becoming a neuropsychologist, which is why we put this resource page together.
